It is a target specific system designed to attack acrylic oxidation at the molecular level and remove it without risk of damage to the lens surface or Ultra Violet layer of protection.

A 100% pure liquid acrylic paint conditioner. Pittman Original VaporWax APC is not a common wax or abrasive polish. It is a Target Specific System designed to preserve the original factory finish and prevent the formation oxidation on acrylic paint and headlights.

Unlike wax VaporWax never hardens, never dulls and never has to be removed. Unlike polish VaporWax is non abrasive and does not cause damage to the factory finish

Thin linen may be substituted for a paper towel.
Thick cloth towels are overly absorbent and wasteful, therefore they are NOT recommended.
Rub in small circular motions. Gradually increasing the size of the circle as oxidation is removed.
Oxidation removal is instant. condition of lens beneath oxidation will vary. Immediate reapplication is not necessary

If your purchase has been obviously damaged during shipping, you should refuse the shipment. The carrier will return the product and a replacement
will be shipped,

If you used a machine buffer or an abrasive cleaner, cream, paste, sandpaper, or harsh chemical product on your headlight lens in a past effort to
restore them, Your Lens cannot be fully restored. Your U.V layer and lens surface have been damaged. The improvement will be noticeable but not
100%.

If you used a "polyurethane, acrylic or varnish sealer"  Your lens will have to be resurfaced, it CANNOT be restored.

The Theory behind Alien Liquid Research

Oxidation is the revolution of electrons / KMOD Alien Liquid Research / Infinite Design 360

An acrylic deoxidizer is a non abrasive liquid designed to remove acrylic oxidation on contact, The applied theory is
oxidation is a natural build up of loose oxygen electrons also known as "free radicals" some of these are attracted to acrylic surfaces.
These electrons have a natural negative charge and are drawn to the surface of acrylics.
The amounts are increased when current is passing through the headlight.
These electrons will build up on the surface until no light can come through.  In the process they create an absorbent surface layer that will trap road debris
such as gas and oil and will be darken by Ultra Violet Light. These ''additional contaminants'' can degrade the UV layer and turn the oxygenated surface from
white to yellow to
brown.
Environment and vehicle maintenance has a large part to do with how fast this will happen.
This oxygenated surface solidifies into a hard outer coating.

The low tech way to solve this problem was to use an abrasive or polish to wear the oxidized surface away. The problem with that approach is that it causes
more harm than the oxidation itself. Some thermoplastic based headlight lens are covered with a softer thin membrane that serves as a layer of Ultra Violet
Light protection. This thin factory installed layer stops the suns ultra violet light from turning the plastic lenses yellow. Modern
acrylic clear coats offer paint the same protection.
Note that there are many names for plastic lenses: Acrylic and Polycarbonate are two other terms used to describe these lenses.

Never use an abrasive cleaner or polish on your acrylic paint or headlight lens, unless they have already been compromised with a low tech abrasive
cleaners / polishes or have severe surface damage.
The use of abrasives to remove oxidation will produce a permanent cloud of scratches on the surface of paint or headlight lens.
Oxidation is not damage it is easily removed with a Deoxidizer.

Imitation / fake De oxidizers require lots of rubbing. They claim to be non abrasive,  
These imitations include rubbing compounds, plastic polish, wax and toothpaste. All can be used on a variety of surfaces and all contain abrasive solids.
When used on acrylic headlights it will remove oxidation along with the clear surface of the UV layer and anything else it comes in contact with leaving your
lenses clouded with scratches. When used on acrylic paint it removes layers of clear coat and paint..
Modern automotive paint has advanced beyond the simple enamels and old time regiments used in the distant past.
However some people still apply this harmful ancient technology to modern automotive acrylic paint and have banned together on biased Internet detail
forums to keep their ancient rituals alive.
This old technology relied on friction and brute force to get the job done,
What I refer to as the Caveman mentality!
The same tool for every job.
Like using a rock to polish your windows. This outdated process does far more harm than good, and requires dedicated time and labor.
Todays modern Automotive Acrylic Paints are not designed to withstand the friction required to perform these ancient rituals.
The result is damaged dull paint surface, caused by the application, stripping, polishing and reapplication of wax..
A surface so dulled that it must be waxed to cover the damage.
That is counter productive, Damaged paint needs restoration.
Undamaged paint needs to be preserved in it's original condition.

finish while producing a brilliant shine that will never dull and a paint surface that comes clean with clear water.

OXIDATION DOES NOT CAUSE THE LENS TO TURN YELLOW, OXIDATION IS NOT CAUSED BY UV RAYS
Oxidation is not UV damage, Oxidation is not damage, UV damage is not caused by oxidation it is a visual defect.
UV damage is a yellow tinting of the lens that is internal and permanent, lens replacement is the only option at this point. .

Yellowing is caused by Ultra Violet rays from the sun. With the UV layer intact the rays are effectively blocked from reaching the lens. The white oxidation
which forms on top of the UV layer will turn yellow and brown from a combination of ultra violet rays and contaminants.
This does not effect the lens below. However once this UV layer is severely damaged or removed the UV rays can reach the lens and cause it to turn yellow.
When this happens there is no recovery.  The yellow will permeate the lens and cause the lens it's self to turn yellow.  This yellowing is permanent, and your
lens will continue to oxidize at an accelerated rate. Removing the oxidation will not remove the yellow nor can it be sanded or polished away.
When Pittman's One Step ALR is activated there is a molecular reaction within the formula. As molecules begin to react to each other the formula becomes
opaque. The video demonstrates that light will easily pass through transparent unactivated ALR.
ALR that has been activated becomes opaque and prevents light from passing directly trough. Energy is released within the bottle as the molecules begin to
segregate themselves into their original groupings.
This can be seen as bubbles within the formula begin to rise to the top of the bottle.
This is the energy that oxidation reacts to when it they come in contact with each other. As the molecules segregate themselves surface oxidation is
absorbed within the reaction.
Headlight restoration 101: WHAT THE CAVEMAN WON'T TELL YOU


A. In Internet detail forums the Cavemen will appear out of "No where" and attempt to distract you from understanding

"This is what I do, I start out with 400 grit and work my way to 2000 grit and polish and mine look great".

That's caveman talk.
People have been doing that for years and if you look around you can see the damage caveman science has caused. Your car may have been a victim.
